My father lovingly placed a camera in my nine-year old hands one night after dinner. The first image I created was of the neighbor's car from my bedroom window. That night, my creative development through the lens was launched. Intrigued with abstraction and the juxtaposition of objects, I explore these themes like visual puzzles formed by light and shapes.
The magic behind the decisive moment to release the shutter fascinates me. What is it about that object, that scene, or that arrangement, that prompts a mindful action? Creating images used to be a way of filling time for me, now it is a way to process life events.
My images have been exhibited in a variety of regional, national, and international solo and group shows.
